Overview
Enhancing cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM) 3D density maps at intermediate resolution (4-8 Ã…) is crucial in protein structure determination. CryoSAMU is a novel method designed to enhance these maps using structure-aware multimodal U-Nets. It integrates 3D map features with structural embeddings from the ESM-IF1 protein language model. By training on a curated dataset of intermediate-resolution maps, CryoSAMU improves map quality, shows competitive performance against state-of-the-art methods, and achieves significantly faster processing speeds.

The CryoSAMU online webserver allows anybody with a Neurosnap account to run and access CryoSAMU, no downloads required. Information submitted through this webserver is kept confidential and never sold to third parties as detailed by our strong terms of service and privacy policy.
